Every chat starts in the private lane, where open-weight models answer inside a trusted execution environment (TEE) that your browser verifies first. Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Grok answer in the open lane, each with its label.

Pick a model, and the chat takes its lane.

  • Private lane by default

    Your browser verifies the enclave's remote attestation, then encrypts each message with Hybrid Public Key Encryption (HPKE) to a key that only the enclave holds. Not even Thinkr can read the chat.

  • Open lane by choice

    Frontier models run with zero data retention on every request, and each label says that the provider can read the chat.

  • Verify it yourself

    Follow each step of the verification on your device: the release signed in a transparency log, the attestation report signed by AMD or Intel, and the encryption key bound to the enclave.

  • Images and documents

    Attach an image or a document to a chat and ask about it. The picker shows which models read images.

  • Web search

    Bring current web pages into a chat. In the private lane the enclave sends the search, so the search engine gets the query, never the chat or who asked.

  • History on your device

    Chats stay in your browser, and the servers of Thinkr keep no copy. A temporary chat leaves no history at all.
