No. You can chat, top up, and back up your chats without a name, an email address, or a phone number.
Open the app and start a chat. Your chats live in your browser, and your credit stays on your device as blind vouchers.
To open your chats on another device, turn on the backup. Your browser encrypts the text of your chats and your credit, and a passkey or a recovery code opens them there.
