What is zero data retention?
Zero data retention (ZDR) is a promise of a provider to keep no prompts and no answers. The provider reads your chat to answer it, then keeps nothing, by contract.
On Thinkr, 118 models run with ZDR, among them Claude, GPT, and Gemini. Thinkr trains no model, and every request of ZDR and Open forbids data collection, so it never goes to a provider that may train on it.
For a chat that nobody else can read, Private mode runs open-weight models inside an enclave that your browser verifies.
More questions.
- How do I pay for Thinkr with crypto?Top up credit with USDG or THKR on Robinhood Chain in Private billing. Your credit arrives as blind vouchers that your device keeps, so Thinkr cannot link your payment to your chats.Read the answer
- Does Thinkr require KYC?No. Thinkr has no accounts and asks for no name, email address, phone number, or ID.Read the answer
- Can Thinkr read my chats? Not in Private mode. Your browser encrypts each message to the enclave, and Thinkr's proxy carries only ciphertext. In ZDR and Open, the provider of the model reads the chat to answer it, and Thinkr's proxy can read it in transit.Read the answer
